I created the term "Diggs Duke" from the phrase "Jonathan Digs Duke Ellington."

I wanted prospective listeners to immediately know something about me, before listening.

I am a versatile composer, musician, writer, philosopher and inventor.  I possess a unique style that blends elements of all the world's music together, in alignment with the mission of Duke Ellington.

Diggs Duke is also a concept that can be applied to many things, in order to foster innovation and unique creative thinking, in the spirit of Duke Ellington.

I own the vast majority of my masters and I wrote the vast majority of my songs alone. 

So, I am fully empowered to make a deal with you, in regards to licensing my music for your media production.
